This combination of a Qualification and Certification in one will truly will give our students an advantage in the job market - whether that be in Australia or elsewhere around the world after their studies.

New Horizons Australia Institute of Technology campuses are situated in the central business districts of Australia’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities. With campuses in the main centres of Sydney and Brisbane, students have their choice of study location. Our facilities are equipped with latest technologies and provide flexible study options to assist students balance class, work and life in Australia.

The academic year is divided into four terms of eight (8) weeks each. There is a four (4) week holiday period between each term and mid term holiday of one week. Students may commence study at any point where a new term coincides with the commencement of a study module. Most qualifications are structured to ensure a new term coincides with a new study module.

Another benefit of studying in Australia is that student visa holders are permitted to work while studying. Student visa holders can work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight when your course is in session, and unlimited hours when your course is not in session. New Horizons has a four (4) week holiday period between each term, and a one (1) week holiday midterm. Students who go on to pathway from a New Horizons qualification to a Bachelors or Masters degree may be also eligible for a subclass 485 visa, allowing graduates to work in Australia temporarily after they finish their studies.

Diploma of Project Management (52 Weeks) in Sydney or Brisbane

This course covers a range of units, including leading and managing team effectiveness, managing project scope, time, quality, cost, human resources, information and communication, risk, integration and stakeholder engagement. As well as gaining a nationally recognised qualification, by passing or completing the required exams or activities you can also gain PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner certifications.

Students must be over 18 years, have completed their final year of secondary schooling or equivalent, and require an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 5.5 overall, with a minimum of 5 in any one band, or equivalent.

Diploma of Information Technology (52 Weeks) in Sydney or Brisbane

AUS$ 10,000

This course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to administer and manage information and communications technology in areas such as networking, IT support, database development, programming and web development. As well as gaining a nationally recognised qualification, by passing or completing the required exams or activities you can also gain Microsoft, PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner and Java8 Eclipse Practitioner certifications.

Students must be over 18 years, have completed their final year of secondary schooling or equivalent, and require an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 5.5 overall, with a minimum of 5 in any one band, or equivalent.

Pathways

University Pathways:
Students can start their education with New Horizons and then continue their studies through our pathways program. We have partnerships with a selection of Universities.

English Language Pathways:
If students need to increase their English language proficiency levels before studying with us, a Pathways Package can be developed. We have partnerships with a selection of English language schools.
